After implementing four successful WASH project in Jomi district Caritas Tajikistan (CT) was requested by its main partner on WASH program, National KMK (Government unitary enterprise on management of public housing and services) to support another district. Based on an assessment CT selected among of the three suggested districts for its future operations. From March’ 2020 WASH program of CT has targeted Qubodiyon district. Qubodiyon is a district in south part of the country and one of the districts severely suffered by civil conflict in 1990s. The distrct need support in rehabilitation of almost down water sector and public waste services. Currently a new project on improving access to clean water and improving waste management is under the implementation. The project is currently in the phase of signing MOU and arranging orientation meetings and preparation to baseline survey.
