On 28th of September’17 management of CT hold meeting with head of the National Adults Learning Center (NALC) under the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Rahimov A. The meeting was joined by CI representative, Aloysius John. Director of CT – Kholov Y., shared with the Ministry representative significance of the CI campaign, Share the Journey. Mr. Rahimov stressed that work of NALC oriented for benefits of migrants, especially labor migrants. It shall be noted that annually from the country about one million people leave for jobs to neighboring countries and their income makes about 1/3 of GDP of the county. NALC provide trainings not only for local citizens potentially oriented for labor migration but also worked with migrants from Afghanistan residing in the country. At the end of the meeting both sides called all prospective stakeholders for further cooperation for benefit of migrants. After the meeting the head of NALC showed classes for professional education.

CT has good collaboration with NALC. Just this year in the frame of CT project working with orphan youth, 15 fosterlings of the project completed full skill courses for different professions and received internationally recognized certificates. In the context of this country and with consideration of their social status these adolescents will potentially fill number of labor migrants
